Something New

Spa Time

Most evenings now Campbell needs a bath.  We used to be able to get away with every other night, but now that we are playing outside so much she needs one every night.  She plays hard when she is outside, she has a lot of bigger kids to keep up with, balls to bounce & chalk to eat.

We are also trying to keep her up a little later every night, so most nights weather permitting we play outside till about 7 and then come inside for bath time and her new favorite part of the routine....SPA time with her Daddy.  Brian gets out the hair dryer and gives her a blow out.

Campbell loves her some yogurt...but her Mommy doesn't love the mess it makes! 

But I guess everyone has to learn to use a spoon at some point! 

These Are The Days....

These are the days I will remember for the rest of my life!  I love every moment I spend with Campbell and thought I should share some pictures of all the fun we have.  For the past 3 weeks we have meet Ashley and Addie at story time at the library.  Campbell loves it & of course doesn't sit down for the story, which the librarian encourages all the children to do...oh well!  Then after story time is over we usually head to the mall so the kids can play together!  I can't wait for the warm weather so we can sit at the park and play.

Saturday Sew Day

For Christmas my parents gave me a sewing machine, so I finally decided to give it a try.  I was hoping to have my mom over so she could show me all the ropes, but I figured I could at least read the direction and get started.  I will of course have my mom over soon so she can tell me what I am and am not doing right.  But I figure if I could at least get a bobbin and the machine threaded and sew something I would be off to a good start.

Friday Fun Day

On Friday Campbell & I had a play date with Ashley, Wiley & Addie.  We meet up at our house around 11 & headed to the park near our house.  Of course I forgot my camera so there are no pictures at the park, but that park is perfect for little kids!  The one thing that is missing are some swings, but it has great slides and really easy to climb on play sets.  Campbell had a great time climbing up the slides and sliding back down,  of course she would already be breaking the rules.  The other amazing thing is that no one else was at the park and according to Insley that is the way it is on the weekends also...BONUS!!!!!!!!!

After the park we all came back to the house and had lunch and played around the house.  I think Campbell had a little to much fun because she refused to nap after Addie and Wiley left...a 45 minute nap doesn't count in my book! 

I promise we did not put them in there.

While at the Kids Layne sale I also happened upon a new friend and a great necklace!  I meet Aimee, who is a sales rep for Stella & Dot, http://home.stelladot.com.  They have amazing things and I had such a hard time deciding what to get, but I ended up selecting this necklace...Together Forever!
