That is the date Campbell will arrive, if she hasn't arrived before then. I saw Dr. J today & we went ahead & schedule my induction for 11/5/09. I still don't think it has sunk in that next week we will be real parents...I mean parents to a baby.

Thursday works well for us b/c it gives us the weekend to get settled before Brian goes back to work. But we are lucky that he will be able to work some from home & some at the office!

November 5th is also special because it is my grandfathers birthday, my dad's dad. He passed away when I was in the 11th grade, so it will be special that Campbell and Grandpa will have the same birthday!


***UPDATE*** While Brian will be going back to work for at least part of the day on Monday, we will be home the rest of the week. He just has to get the guys at the office off on the right foot for the week. But don't worry my mom will be here with us on Monday.

So all we are waiting on is a baby.....in about 4 weeks & everything to get hung on the walls & for Brian to build the basket cubbie!

Our family room has been transformed into baby central...we have the Pack 'n' Play, the Swing & Bouncer. I swear when you have a child you should buy stock in batteries!

We have her stroller & car seat so now all we really need is her, and as much as I want to meet her, I could use another couple of weeks to get ready...mentally ready.

We have her diaper bag all packed & her coming home outfit ready to go...but you will have to wait and see that once she actually comes home...NO SNEAK PEAKS!

I had a bit of a hiccup yesterday with my doctor and my insurance & so I have had to switch Dr's & hospitals that I am delivering at. It is a bummer b/c I loved Dr. V & her nurse and I will miss them, but I have also come to the realization that the chance of her actually delivering me were not 100% unless I was induced, she was on call or it was during office hours. So, I am going to see Dr. J, who came highly recommended by Dr. V, so while it will be weird to start all over again I know I will be in great hands.

I went yesterday to visit my best friend Ashley & her newest addition Adelein Helene, Addie for short. She was born about 2 weeks early on Sept 29th. I am so excited that she had a little girl & that Addie and Campbell can grow up together, just like Ashley & I did. It was weird to hold her & think that Campbell is just about her size, maybe a little smaller, just inside my belly!
