We had a rather low key weekend..complete with Campbell's first arts & craft project. Well actually the project was for her, she did not participate. She hung out in her bouncey seat or swing while we painted.
I had always wanted to get the letter for her name, but the ones that I really liked cost $18 each and when you have a long name like Campbell that equals $144, which as much as I love the letters is a bit much for me. So I decide to make my own letters. But I also decided to go for just her initials. So, I set out on Friday for Michaels and bought the letters that I would need & since I already had the craft paint my little project cost me about $9. I think the letters came out really cute & can't wait to hang them above her crib.

These are the $18 letters...cute but in the end I think our turned out better!
I must also give credit to Brian, he helped with this little craft project & might just be better at crafting than I am. He painted the "M" & I painted the "C" & "H" I think all three letters look great & really go well with her bedding.

We also spent most of yesterday afternoon over at Noni & Pop's house which was fun. We watched football & ate yummy beef stew that Noni made. Noni & I also went to Tweed, which is a store that I happen to love, but really isn't mommy friendly, especially if you have a baby in a stroller or really a child that might pick up anything. I didn't get anything but I love to look around and think about what I would do with all the wonderful stuff they have there. We were commenting on how expensive they are getting, which is sad because I love that store.

Sunday was basically spent around the house with one trip out into the freezing cold to get dog food & Brian's haircut, but only part of our trip was successful since Hair Cuttery had a 40 minute wait, or at least that was he wait for Brian's favorite hair lady...Ann!
Well hope everyone has a good week..we have a busy Monday...Campbell finally goes back to the doctor for her 2 month check up & her shots...yikes! But I can't wait to see how much she is going to weigh. Any guess?
Here is a picture of our little lady sitting in her bumbo seat, well actually her buddy Avery's bumbo seat that we are borrowing! In this picture Campbell is participating in her favorite activity...looking at the fan!

Also, I don't know that I every put up a picture of the painting that our good friend Christina painted for Campbell's nursery. I asked her to do it a while back & really gave her nothing to go on and this is what she painted! I love it & it is so special to me. I can't wait to tell Campbell all about it! Thank you Christina!
