Campbell's Fall Wardrobe

I had so much fun at the outlets in the mountains and the beach getting clothing for Campbell! But I am also super excited about the outlet trip that Leigh & I have coming up sometime in September or October so that I can get Campbell so more cute things and depending on how the dieting is going maybe even get myself a few new things!

9 Month Check Up

I took Campbell for her 9 month check up and she did great. She had to get 1 shot and have her iron levels checked. Her iron levels were a little low, so we are supposed to increase the food she eats with iron in them. We will check her levels again in about 3 months!

Campbell weighed 18 lbs 7 oz, she was 27 1/2 inches long! She is right about 50% for her weight and height. Dr. S says she looks perfect and we couldn't agree more!

Campbell's First Food

Well her first real food! After our doctor's visit this morning Dr. S said we could start Campbell on every food that we eat (except honey). So we started off with bananas! It took her a while to decide if she liked the texture when picking them up but once she got over the initial shock she loved them and I loved watching her feed herself!

Campbell's First Day of Day Care

Campbell had her very first day of daycare yesterday and did excellent! I think the only one with an issue yesterday was mommy! I cried on and off all morning long and then made Brian take her to the babysitters house b/c I knew if I had to drop her off it just wasn't going to happen!

JoAnne said she did great and had fun playing with the other kids. I knew she would be fine but it is just a huge change after being with her everyday for 9.5 months! Crazy! She was so excited to see me when I picked her up and she was having a great time with the other kids so that made me feel better.

To top it off my wonderful husband brought me flowers home from work.

And if things couldn't have gotten any better the Turner's brought me flowers and a sweet note! I am so lucky to have such amazing friends who are always there for me!

Changes Are Coming

Starting tomorrow there will be some big changes in the Harris household. I am going back to work! It is bitter sweet, I am really excited to get back to working but I am also super sad about leaving Campbell I haven't been away from her since she was born for more than a few hours at a time. I know she will be fine, I like the lady we are sending to during but it will be an adjustment for all of us. No more lazy morning in my pj's with Campbell, no more play dates during the day with Ashley, Wiley & Addie, but luckily with my new job I will be working most days from about 8:15-3:15. So we can still have late afternoon play dates. I know this is what is best for our family and I know Campbell will love being around other kids! I will let you know how the first few days go!

Vacation Pictures

To hold you over till we get back from vacation! We had a wonderful time in the mountains and are having a great time at the beach! Brian has played tons of golf & we have gotten to spend tons of quality family time!
