Campbell's First Finger Painting

Campbell  brought home her first finger painting from school last Friday, so I thought I would share it with everyone!  

We think she has great talent!...haha!

Addie's First Birthday Party

Campbell's friend Addie had her first birthday party today.  Her actually birthday is September 29th, but they decided to celebrate her today with a birthday brunch!  They had tons of yummy food...coffee cake, fruit salad, baked oatmeal, egg & sausage casserole, egg and crab casserole!  YUMMY!!!  We headed over to celebrate after Campbell's swim lesson this morning.  It is always so much fun to see the girls together.  I hope they grow up to be best friends, just like their mommies!

Swimming

Campbell has been taking swim lessons for4 weeks now and this was the first week that both Brian & I were able to go together.  So I wanted to make sure and capture some pictures of Campbell swimming.  She loves the water and always takes amazing morning naps after her swim class!

 I think I forgot to mention that Campbell's buddy Avery is in her swim class.  The best part of watching is the class is watching Brian & Brad sing all the silly songs while swimming around in the pool!

Jessica's Bachelorette Pary

I headed out last night to celebrate Jessica & her upcoming wedding.  We meet over at Jessica's house around 3:15 and the headed out for manicures & pedicures...which were to die for!  I love having a pedicure & hardly ever get my nails done so that was nice change, even though I have already messed up 2 of my nails...oh well! 

After we finished at the nail salon we headed down to Rockett's Landing to The Boathouse...a yummy seafood resturant in downtown Richmond.  I had some yummy shirmp & grits and 2 Mojitos!  Towards the end of dinner some kid decided it would be fun to pull the fire alarm, so the last 10 minutes of our meal was anything but peaceful...but it was funny!  After dinner we headed over to this small ice cream shop on Broad Street, called A Piece of Heaven...it was super yummy! 

I think we all had a good time & I hope they are having a good time up in DC tonight!  Here are the only 2 pictures I took.  Kim was the official photographer so I will have to steal her pictures!

Campbell Goes To IKEA

We headed up to IKEA on Sunday with our friends Mark & Jessica. Brian wanted to look at some new office furniture and I need someone to tag along with. We had a great time with them, minus the car ride. Campbell basically cried a majority of the trip, she was so tired but couldn't fall asleep with people in the back with her. She is used to have the backseat all to herself and not having anyone to look at. She did take a "good" nap while we were in IKEA. She slept for about an hour, not bad for being in a loud store and in a stroller.

Brian found some good things for his office, so once the move we will be making a return trip, probably without Campbell. While we were there we did find as cute toy organizer for Campbell to have in the morning room. I got the floor tiles at Bellini, back before Campbell was born and have been waiting for the right time to use them. I hope she will like having this little area all to herself, once she realizes that is there.

FALL TV

I can't wait for fall tv to start! I really hate tv during the summer, there is nothing thatcat I really like to watch so I usually end up watching brain rotting tv on Bravo (like Flipping Out, The Rachael Zoe Project & the Real Housewives of ...)...so rotten brain tv! But soon very soon the good shows start & I can't wait. Here is a look at my tv viewing schedule for the fall (hope Brian doesn't have anything he wants to watch..haha)

Just to warn everyone a new show like Mike & Molly, if I end up liking the show it will get canceled! So don't fall in love with it! Also, if you could please not call during tv viewing time that would be great...haha!

Football

FOOTBALL STARTS TONIGHT!

I am so excited, I love me some football & I love what football season means....cool fall weather and yummy foods! This year I am playing Fantasy Football for the first time, so we will see how it goes! I am the only girl on the team and I was a last minute add on (hence my team name last minute add on) so if I don't do well this year I am blaming it on the fact that I got the leftover players! I hope that I can still enjoy the games and no worry to much at the fantasy league, like someone else in my family! But I do hope that I beat Brian in the league...haha!

Tooth #2

Campbell is finally cutting her second tooth, it broke through last night/this morning. Yesterday she gave us quite a scare with a 104 degree fever, but after calling the on call doctor and giving her Motrin & Tylenol we got it to break around 1 this morning. She has been a happy little bug all day.

Saturday we went over to Noni & Pops house to hang out with the family and Campbell got to play in the johnny jumper...she loves that thing! But after a few minutes of bouncing she needed to get out and take a rest! Enjoy the video!
