Campbell's Halloween Shirt

Campbell came home on Friday with this super cute Halloween shirt that she helped to make at daycare last week.  I love that the little ghost is her footprint upside down.

Family Reunion

We left bright and early Saturday morning for a family reunion in Pearisburg, VA...where you might be asking a mere 4 hour car ride away.  Pearisburg is about 30 minutes past Virginia Tech.  We had a really nice time visiting with family and wish we could have stayed longer, but we decided to be brave and drive up and back on Saturday, staying in a hotel with Campbell is not fun and we wanted to be home on Sunday for church and a the fun Halloween activities.

Before leaving Pearisburg for the day we stopped at the cemetery where Gan & Papa are buried so we could leave some flowers for them.  I know they would have loved Campbell & she would have loved them too!

Jessica & Mark's Wedding

Our good friends Jessica & Mark got married on Sunday at the Clifton Inn in Charlottesville.  It was a beautiful day for their outdoor wedding! The girls all arrived around 12 on Sunday so we could begin getting ready and get all the wedding things handed over to the staff at the Clifton Inn.  It was so nice to be able to spend Jessica's last few hours as a single lady together.

See Ya Swim Class

We had our last swim lesson on Saturday morning...Campbell has had a great time in the class but I think we are going to take a break from swim lessons and try something else in January.  December is going to be crazy for me at work and I don't want to have a weekly commitment during that month.

It's The Great Pumpkin, Campbell Harris!

After swimming this morning we headed out the the Chesterfield Berry Farm to get our pumpkins for the year.  We had an amazing coupon that let us get in free with our valid driver's licenses!  ( A savings of $22...which is big since you still have to pay for your pumpkins and since we are a bit to old & non-walking to participate in most of the other activities!)
We meet up with the Turner & Koehler families for some pumpkin hunting fun!  We looked at some farm animals, watched the big kids play in the bouncy house & then had some lunch before riding out on the tractor to find just the right pumpkins.  We got 2 pumpkins this year, a nice round one and my favorite a pumpkin with warts!!! We also got Noni a green pumpkin...so that she can still have a pumpkin come Thanksgiving!
