Not To Much To Report

There has not been a lot going on at the Harris household. On Friday night we had dinner over at Christina & Brad's house, to celebrate my birthday and what was even more exciting was we were their first guest to use their new china....it is beautiful! After dinner we played boys vs girls Trivial Pursuit and unfortunately the boys won, maybe it had something to do with the fact that I could not read a question correctly to save my life or maybe it was the fact that they got all the easy questions...I am not kidding. Christina & I would get questions like "What creature is on the coat of arms of Germany?" and the boys would get questions like "Where were the Olympics held in 1992?" Oh well I am sure there will be plenty of rematches & if not I will always think back to our killer Scrabble game, while camping last fall where Christina & I killed the boys with the word "oxen" in the last round of the game! It was amazing!

On Saturday, I went with Leigh, Olivia & Avery to Sears to have Olivia's pictures taken for her 2nd birthday. I swear that is crazy...you really need 20 hands when you are a mom and when you have 2 kids....my hat goes off to Leigh! After the photo session, we grabbed lunch at Chipotle before heading back to the home front. Brian played golf on Saturday afternoon and seemed to have a good time, despite the heat, but he said there was a nice breeze on the course.

On Sunday, we headed out to Short Pump to grab lunch with Mark & Jessica and to look for a lamp for the nursery. We had no luck so far on the lamp search, but had a wonderful time at lunch with Jessica & Mark. As for the rest of the day on Sunday we pretty much did nothing, just watch some tv, eat dinner & take Grover on a walk.

That pretty much wraps up our weekend and this week I have a doctors appointment with Dr. Van Tuyle on Wednesday. This upcoming weekend we have Olivia's 2nd birthday party! Happy Early Birthday Olivia!!!! and Brian is going to hopefully finish putting up the crown molding in the nursery!
