Tacky Sweater Party

Saturday night was the first night that I left Campbell for more than 25 minutes, until this point the only time I have left her was to run to Ukrops. But I couldn't miss the Turner's Annual Tacky Sweater Party...I just love to see what everyone comes up with. I have to say the second year we went to the party was by far the best sweaters we had. Christina and I made our outfits using our monogramming machine. We spelled out Ho Ho as you can see from the picture.




Here are the sweaters from this year...still funny, but not as great as year 2 when we won the prize for best sweaters! You can't actually see Brian's shirt b/c he work his "H" sweater from 2 years ago as a jacket b/c it was cold!



We had a wonderful time at the party! It was great to catch up with everyone & eat tons of yummy food that Leigh had prepared! Brian also enjoyed 2.5 bottles and wine & some shots, so he is feeling lovely this morning...haha! Actually I don't think he feels all the bad. He seemed to have a wonderful time shooting off fireworks & acting crazy with the other guys in the neighborhood!

So, back to leaving Campbell, I decided that leaving her at home just across the street was something that I could handle b/c at any point if she needed me or I needed her I could just run across the street & this year I didn't need anyone to assist me in crossing the street (thanks Brad & Justin..haha!)So, lucky for us Noni & Pops were available to be Campbell's first babysitters & they did a great job, not that we were worried about leaving her with them.

It was nice to get out for a while & visit with friends without Campbell. I must say that I will be more than willing for venture out again seeing how well her time away from us went last night!
