We meet up with Ashley & Addie this morning at the Virginia Historical Society and had a nice time walking around and looking at the all exhibits. We spent the most time walking through the exhibit on World War II. They had all these amazing black and white photographs with descriptions of what you were looking at. I think one of my favorites was a picture of these 4 nurses in London, inside a bombed out hospital ward trying to salvage anything they could find, it almost looked as if they were going to try and get back to work in a building that was crumbling around the. Of course we don't have any pictures from today b/c taking pictures inside is not allowed. But we had a nice time and I would highly recommend seeing the exhibit before it moves on. I think it is around until 8/1.
